“Whom should I send as a messenger to this people?
Who will go for us?”
I said, “Here I am. Send me.”
At Monterey First Baptist Church, we hear God’s call to action and answer with a united heart. We are committed to spreading God’s word and showing His love through active mission work, starting right here at home and reaching across the globe. Together as a church family,
we pool our prayers, resources, and hands to support ministries at every level.
Locally, we serve our community by partnering with Concordia Paws to care for animals in need and The Bread Crumb to help feed and support our neighbors. Our reach extends internationally as we pack and send shoeboxes all over the world through Operation Christmas Child,
bringing joy and the Gospel to children in distant lands.
We also stand strong with our cooperative mission offerings to impact the state, nation, and world. We are actively involved in State missions through the Georgia Barnett State Mission Offering, National missions through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and International missions through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. When we come together to
support these missions, we ensure that the light of Christ shines everywhere.
